This service is operated by Gadget 4 Home LLC, a company registered in the United States.

2. Data We Collect

We only collect your email address for authentication (login) purposes and to secure your account.

When you click the extension button on a supported retailer page, the extension reads product details (name, price, SKU, and image) directly from that page to add items to your estimate. This happens only when you explicitly trigger it — no browsing activity is collected passively.

If you use the right-click context menu feature, the selected text and current page URL are used to create a product entry in your estimate. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted without your action.

We do not collect, store, or have access to your passwords, browsing history, or personal data from websites you visit.

3. Local & Cloud Storage

Your data — including estimates, material lists, client information, company logo, and settings — is first stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure built-in storage. If you are logged in, this data is also backed up to Supabase (hosted on AWS) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled, ensuring that only you can access your own data. All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

4. AI Privacy

Material List does not process your data with internal AI. The extension provides a pre-built prompt that you can send to your own ChatGPT account by opening a new browser tab. Your interaction with OpenAI remains entirely private and under your control. We do not store, transmit, or have access to the AI's responses.

5. No Data Sharing

We do not sell, distribute, or share your data with third parties for any purpose. Your business information remains yours.

6. Payment Processing

Subscription payments are handled securely by Stripe. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or payment information.

7. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@gadget4home.com. We will permanently delete all your data within 30 days of your request.

8. Third-Party Services

The following services are used to operate Material List:

• Supabase — Authentication and encrypted cloud data storage
• Stripe — Secure payment processing
• Google Chrome Web Store — Extension distribution
• OpenAI / ChatGPT — Optional AI prompts (user-initiated, not automated)

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Material List after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms of Service

1. Purpose

Material List is a productivity tool designed to facilitate the creation of estimates, invoices, and material management for contractors, electricians, plumbers, and resellers. The extension is provided by Gadget 4 Home LLC.

2. User Responsibility

You have full control over the prices captured from third-party websites and the application of Mark-up, Margin, and Taxes. Gadget 4 Home LLC is not responsible for errors in the calculations of your final budgets, estimates, or invoices. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all documents generated by Material List.

3. AI-Generated Content

Labor cost suggestions generated via AI are estimates only and should not be used as final pricing without professional validation. The user is responsible for verifying all AI-generated labor cost estimates before presenting them to clients.

4. Free Plan

The free version of Material List is limited to one (1) estimate and one (1) template per day. Users who wish to access unlimited features may upgrade to a Pro plan.

5. Free Trial

New users receive a 30-day free trial with full Pro features. No credit card is required for the trial. After the trial expires, the account reverts to the Free plan unless upgraded.

6. User Content

You retain all rights over the logos, client information, and business data that you upload to Material List. We do not claim ownership of any content you create or store within the extension.

7. Limitation of Liability

Material List is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Gadget 4 Home LLC shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this software, including but not limited to errors in pricing, calculations, or AI-generated content.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of Material List constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

Refund & Subscription Policy

1. Pro Subscription Plans

Material List offers three Pro subscription tiers:

• Monthly: $8.99/month
• Quarterly: $19.99 every 3 months
• Annual: $59.99/year

2. Non-Refundable

As Material List is a digital product with immediate access upon payment, subscriptions are non-refundable. We encourage users to take advantage of the free 30-day trial to evaluate the product before subscribing.

3. Technical Compensation

In the event of system failures or technical issues that prevent you from using Material List, we reserve the right to grant additional days of Pro subscription as courtesy compensation.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your settings panel within the extension. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
